SENIOR PROJECT

For my Senior Project, I focused on the representation of anaxonic and photoreceptor neurons because of my background and interest in biology. I chose both of these neurons because they are responsible for our perception of contrast and color translation. Both are essential fundamentals to the art making process. This inspired me to create sculptures in different sizes, colors, and shapes to highlight the beauty and intricacy of these microscopic parts of our brain.
